Project info

AgreenaGro is a platform helping farmers transition to regenerative agriculture. While regenerative farming replenishes soil nutrients and supports biodiversity, it’s often seen as costly, less productive, and difficult to adopt. Agreena had already launched a platform with a carbon credits model—turning sustainable practices into cash—but the slow and murky turnaround limited uptake. We partnered with them to explore new ways of creating value for farmers from day one.

The project was heavily focused on research, sketching out a wide range of tools touching on themes like crop profitability, field productivity, community-led learning, lowering environmental impact and data-powered modelling for smarter planning. We designed 6 different landing pages showcasing various versions of the future platform, each focused through a different lens. We then ran a series of tests led by social media linking to these landing pages, where farmers could find out more about the offer and sign up to test a Beta — giving us real-time insight into interest, priorities, and sign-ups.

This rapid testing surfaced the most promising directions, allowing us to refine and develop them into a prototype for a more holistic proposition. We worked with Agreena’s product team to integrate an ongoing MVP for an AI-powered AgriCoach, designed to provide actionable advice within the AgreenaGro platform. We then validated the designs through 1:1 interviews with farmers around the UK.

The experiments generated XX leads and an overall XX% uplift in sign-ups, proving that non-financial benefits could accelerate farmer engagement and serve as a gateway to regenerative practices.
